Guests

Q. Can I take pictures and video of the guests signing?
A. This decision is up to each guest. Most will allow you to take pictures WITH them and some will only allow you to take pictures OF them. In rare cases, no photography will be allowed at their table at all. In some cases, an additional fee will be charged for taking a photo with the guest at their table. In the event that there are restrictions placed on your photo taking availability, signs will be posted in the guest signing area.

Q. What day and time is each guest signing?
A. All guests are scheduled to sign for all 3 days unless otherwise noted. Due to flight schedules, some guests will be required to leave the event early on Sunday. In some cases, they may need to leave up to 5 hours before the end of the event. Under these extreme circumstances, a note will be made on the website. Guests required to leave 2-3 hours before the end of the event will not have a note placed on the website. For this reason, it is recommended that you arrive early in the day to ensure you are able to meet the guest(s) of your choosing. Refunds will not be issued in the event that guests are not available when you arrive.

Q. How much are guests charging for autographs?
A. The charge varies depending on the guest. The determination of the autograph price is set very shortly before the event, so we cannot always say the exact cost beforehand. Charges for autographs will vary between $15 – 25. Only under very rare circumstances will the price be greater than $25.

Q. I brought my own item to be signed. Do I still have to pay for it?
A. Yes. The price being charged is for the autograph, not for the photos provided at the table. No matter what item is being signed, the price remains the same.

Q. Is there a discount in the price if I purchase multiple autographs?
A. No. Regardless of how many items you are having signed, the autograph price remains the same.

Q. What are “Virtual Queue Tickets”? Do I have to pay for them?
A. Tickets will be used for SOME guests to form a “virtual line”, very similar to the time delay tickets used at certain local theme parks. One ticket per person per celebrity guest. There is no charge for these tickets. A board will be posted in the guest signing area announcing the ticket numbers that are valid to join the line at any point during the day. You may get in line for your autograph any time after your number has been announced. This helps eliminate the need for people to stand in line for too long to obtain an autograph.

Photo-Ops

Q. What are the professional photo-ops being offered with the guests?
A. Professional photo-ops are a service offered to our attendees that allows them to obtain a professionally taken photograph of themselves with any of our celebrity guests. Taken by a professional photographer, your photo is printed on 8” x 10” glossy paper the same day it is taken so you can have it autographed by the guest.

Q. Can I still bring my own camera?
A. Yes. The professional photo-ops are an additional service we offer to our patrons, but this does not in any way mean that you cannot bring your own camera to take photos of and with the guests on your own. Personal cameras will not be allowed inside the photo-op area, but you are still encouraged to bring it with you to the show. Please refer to the “GUESTS” section of this F.A.Q. for rules on taking photos of the guests.

Q. Is the price of the autograph included with the photo-op price?
A. No. The price you are paying for the photo-op covers only that session and is not run by FX, but by the photographer. If you want to get your photo signed by the guest, you must still pay for the autograph.

Q. How much do the photo-ops cost?
A. For photos with a single actor, the cost is $30 in most cases. Any group shots that may be offered will be priced by the photographer accordingly.

Tickets

Q. Can I get an “early buyer” ticket for Friday or Saturday only?
A. No. Early Buyer admission is a perk of buying a multi-day pass and cannot be purchased with a single day admission.

Q. I never received an email confirmation from you. What do I need to pick up my ticket?
A. Your online payment confirmation is the only confirmation you will receive. Please print a copy and bring it with you to Will Call.

Q. I never got my ticket in the mail.
A. As it states on the ticket page, we do not mail tickets. They are available for pick up at Will Call anytime during the show, beginning Friday morning.

Press Passes

Q. Are Press Passes available for FX 2009?
A. Yes, if they are requested and approved before the event.

Q. How do I get a Press Pass?
A. You must email name, company, title and contact information for each person requesting a pass in your inquiry. A limit may be imposed on the number of passes allowed per company making a request. Email requests to katie@fxshow.com.
Q. If I get a Press Pass, do I also need a regular admission ticket?
A. No. Your Press Pass covers your admission to the show and a number of special events. A Press Pass does not allow you unrestricted access to all areas of the event. If you have additional persons in your party who are not eligible for Press Passes, they will require the purchase of general admission.
